At Dental at Keys, we’ve partnered with Afterpay to make dental care more accessible. With Pay in 4, you can have your treatment done now and spread the cost over four equal payments across six weeks—completely interest-free.
How Afterpay works for dental treatment:
- Pay 25% of the total cost at the time of your appointment.
- The remaining three instalments are automatically deducted from your nominated debit or credit card every two weeks.
- No interest, and no extra fees when payments are made on time.
Using Afterpay at Dental at Keys is easy:
Simply use your Afterpay Card via the Afterpay app to tap and pay on our EFTPOS terminal*. There’s no complicated paperwork or lengthy approvals—just a straightforward way to manage your dental expenses.

Download the Afterpay App from the Apple App Store or Google Play
To set up an Afterpay account you’ll need to:
- Live in Australia or New Zealand
- Be over 18 years of age
- Have an Australian/New Zealand debit or credit card
- Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile number
- Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile number
- Be capable of entering into a legally binding contract
- Credit checks apply

Check your spending limit by pressing the barcode icon in your Afterpay App
Your spending limits will vary depending if you are a new or existing Afterpay customer and your repayments on current orders
Pay for your visit by tapping your Afterpay card on our Eftpos machines
Once approved, the payment schedule will be displayed in the Afterpay App.
*Please note: Failure to make a payment on time will result in an initial late fee of $10 and a further $7 fee if the payment remains unpaid 7 days after the due date.

What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is a convenient “buy now, pay later” service that lets you split your payments into four equal instalments over six weeks—completely interest-free. It’s a simple way to manage the cost of your dental treatment without paying everything upfront.
Are there any fees with Afterpay?
Afterpay keeps costs fair by capping late fees if you miss a payment. The maximum late fees will never be more than 25% of your order total or $68 per order, whichever is lower.
Here’s how it works:
Orders under $40: A single late fee of up to 25% of the total purchase amount.
Orders $40 or more: A $10 late fee is charged when a payment is missed. If the amount remains unpaid after seven days, an extra $7 late fee applies. This may continue for each late payment until the 25% or $68 cap is reached. Partial fees may be charged to remain under the cap.
Afterpay sends reminders and offers rescheduling options to help you avoid missing payments.
Unlike traditional credit products, Afterpay does not charge interest—so there’s no risk of compounding debt.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes—you’ll need at least 25% of the total treatment cost available in your linked account when you make your purchase. For example, if your treatment costs $400, you’ll need $100 ready for the first instalment.
Is Afterpay safe?
Yes. Afterpay includes multiple security features such as multi-factor authentication, transaction monitoring to detect suspicious activity, and data encryption to protect your personal information.
How do I use Afterpay at Dental at Keys?
When paying for your appointment, simply open the Afterpay app, select your Afterpay Card, and tap it on our EFTPOS terminal. Please let our reception team know you’re using Afterpay so we can process your payment smoothly.
